We’ve been helping our Friends since 1985, thanks to the North East’s kindness and generosity. It’s a community like no other, and one we are incredibly proud and humbled to be a part of. The People’s Kitchen is run entirely by volunteers who give up their time for free and we do not receive any government funding.
Our network of caring supporters stretches from individuals to businesses, schools and religious groups. These people’s donations make it possible for us to support the homeless and continue offering food and friendship to the most vulnerable in our community.
