Schools, churches and community groups provide a great deal of support for The People’s Kitchen and this summer, we had the pleasure of meeting students from St Agnes’ R C Primary School in Newcastle, where they have been working hard to collect food donations for homeless and vulnerable people in our city. Visiting on a Tuesday afternoon, the students had a tour of the Kitchen and met the volunteers preparing the evening meal, seeing first hand how their donations will be used. A big thanks to everyone involved.
