Donations to the Peoples Kitchen

Your donation will allow The People’s Kitchen to provide food and clothing to the homeless and less privileged people in and around the city of Newcastle upon Tyne.

The People's Kitchen is run by a dedicated team of volunteers so that all money raised actually goes to helping the people in need without any being spent and staff salaries or fees. We are always grateful for donation, both great and small. Every donation is acknowledged and the donor is informed how we plan to use their support.

Leaving a Legacy

Many people find it comforting to know that they can continue helping others after their death. Making a will is the only way for you to plan how to take care of your family, friends and support your favourite charities after your death. Follow the link for further details on Legacies

Give in memory of a loved one

Rather than sending flowers in memory of a loved one, families and friends sometimes like to make donations to a charity. We will record gifts received in this way in our ‘In Memoriam’ book and this will help us to continue to provide much needed services. Gifts made ‘in lieu of flowers’ can usually be arranged through your funeral director. If you wish to send gifts directly we still write to thank each donor, unless otherwise requested, and let you have a total of the gifts in memory. Please contact us on 0191 2220699 for advice or further information.

Give in celebration

Some communities believe that you should consider a charitable donation or perform a community service to help less fortunate people when to mark their special occasion. Please contact us on 0191 2220699 for advice or further information.
