I first came to The People’s Kitchen on a community placement with my school; St Thomas More, Blaydon. I have been coming now for almost a year, and I enjoy interacting with the clients.

I love to hear the different stories they have to tell because they all come from different backgrounds. Every night is different, and I enjoy the fact that I am working for a good cause.

Jeff Moon
I am responsible for the day-to-day organising of the keyholders who are charged with running each of the evening sessions, chairing this team as well as a fair bit of driving, running the volunteer training induction programme meaning there’s never a dull moment in the 15 years that I've been involved!
