Martin Scott of Norton Rose Fulbright completed a challenge to raise money for The People’s Kitchen. After the first attempt in Holland had to be called off due to bad weather, he managed to complete it in Cambridgeshire.
Martin’s tells us about how he came to take on the challenge:
“I was introduced to the People’s Kitchen through a colleague in our Newcastle hub who had previously supported the charity. When I visited the Kitchen, I was so impressed by the work done by the volunteers and how they help the local community with both food and friendship. Their approach to alleviating hunger and minimising food waste echoes the ethos of Norton Rose Fulbright’s ‘Global Food Challenge 2018/19’ and I am pleased to have been able to raise funds for the Kitchen through the skydive and generosity from colleagues and friends from around the world.”
A huge congratulations to Martin. We admire your nerves of steel and are very grateful for your generous contribution.
