To ensure our friends and volunteers stay safe The People’s Kitchen has changed the way we deliver food to a Takeaway service. The Alison centre building will not be open to friends/the public to ensure our small team of volunteers can operate safely
To ensure we comply with regulations and ensure the safety of each other and our volunteers we would ask our friends:
- Arrive when we open (not before) so a queue does not form
- Sanitise your hands with one of the many hand sanitisers on the outside of our building
- Wear a face covering or mask when collecting food. These will be provided if you don't already have one and will help keep everyone safe
- Stay 2m apart from volunteers and friends, we must ensure we all social distance and stay safe
Sorry but at this time we cannot accept or distribute clothes or sleeping bags, however if you would like to help us in any other way please follow the Donate tab above.
